Phase 1
It's been a while since I foreshortened legs, so this pose was a challenge but so far, so good.
|
Phase 2
Does the hair look good on him? I opted for wild, unkempt hair to give Lucifer a savage look.
I've eliminated the skeletal frame of the wings, now they're gathered feathers that resemble a cape. |
Phase 3
Added chains & shackles.
As for the background, I decided to go with Dante's concept of hell - a cold fortress of ice, where all feelings die.
|
Phase 4
Altered the hair, made them look "clumped" together.
Altered the shoulders & arms, made them bulkier.
Added horns.
Added ornaments around neck, arms, ankle & horns.
|
Phase 5
Outlined in ink. I took away the chains & shackles. That looks better. |
Phase 6
Shaded-in face & body.
|
Phase 7
Shaded-in hair & ornaments.
|
Phase 8
Rendered feathers with a heavy point, leaving space around Lucifer for a fine point - this gives off the illusion of emanating light.
